Thank goodness for short weeks!

The greatest thing about three-day weekends is that you get three days off in a row (obviously). However, the flip side of three-day weekends, and the second greatest thing about them, is that the remaining work week is short! Haha! That's right. Tomorrow is already Friday -- my favorite day of the week. We hope that everyone had a good Memorial Day weekend. I was hoping to take some cute pictures of Kyle at the park and post them for everyone, but it rained all day Monday, and then Kyle had a rather unfortunate barfing incident during dinner that night. Since that type of thing just doesn't make for good blog-reading material, I didn't capture any of it with photographs (besides, the image of my son puking all over himself, me, the dinner table, and the floor is burned into my memory, so who needs pictures, anyhow?)

Here's a cute picture from Kyle a few weeks ago that I just got around to downloading now:

This is Kyle showing off his new trick -- standing up by himself. He's still pretty wobbly, so it's hard to get a good picture, but you get the general idea:

Here's a cute smile:

And here's a video I shot in the living room about 15 minutes ago:

He is such a cute kid. It was fun to get to know him better last weekend. Even though he was sick, he was still pretty happy!

We had such a fun time with Kyle last weekend! Not only was he as cute as ever, but he's the sweetest and best little guy! His standing and pulling himself up skills show his great strength and coordination! Oops! I'm logged as as the Baker Family, but this is really Grandma Lewis.
