We took Metro from Shady Grove to the middle of town and then just walked around. Here I am in front of the White House:We went over to the new Nationals stadium to watch the game. Jeff took this picture of the mascots for me. For some reason, I laugh hysterically at oversized mascots...especially mascots with oversized heads:

It was tied at the end of nine innings and went all the way to 14 innings! We didn't leave the game until after midnight. Here's Jeff expressing how we both felt as we waited for the train back to Maryland:

That Nationals game went so late! Count your lucky stars that Metro runs late on the weekends.
And I couldn't agree more -- those super-sized mascots are hilarious!
Fun! Hey, we bought our car in Gaithersburg, MD! I've been there! We lived in Ellicott City, not terribly far away. I'm glad you've had fun doing the DC thing and everything over there. We never did get to Ocean City. I'm bummed!
